Mass Effect
What is Mass Effect?
Only the greatest series of ALL TIME!
Why does it suck to be a PS3 owner in this case?
Recently, Bioware (the people who brought you Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) announced that they would make a Mass Effect 2 for the PS3. So that's great for them! Only it isn't.
The reason for this is because Mass Effect is a trilogy. Scratch that, it's not just any old trilogy. It's your trilogy. In Mass Effect 1, you created your character, made what he or she looked like, and then you played the game. The choices that you made in Mass Effect 1 impacted how Mass Effect 2 played out. For example, if you decided to save an alien race, then that alien race contacted you in Mass Effect 2. If you didn't save them, then you just lost an ally. So for people who played Mass Effect 2 without ME1, they just didn't get the same game. It's ultimately about your guy.
I strongly encourage anybody that has a 360 to give Mass Effect 1 a go. If you don't have a 360, but you have a strong powered computer, give it a shot on the PC.
The following are trailers for Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Both are epic. Mass Effect 2 is my Game of the Year, and the trailer for Mass Effect 3 just debuted yesterday. Check them out!

Re: Mass Effect
Hehe, I've seen the original Mass Effect played by a friend, as well as the second but I got to get some hands on game time with the second. I must say that I was pretty impressed!
I'm also really glad that the game is going to make its appearance on the PS3; gives me yet another game to add to my list.

Yeah apparently for the PS3 version, and actually I admit this is kind of a [cool] good idea, you'll go through like a comic book thing in the beginning, that will take you through the events of the first Mass Effect, and have you make the big decisions and everything. So even though you're going to miss out on some things, at the same time, you won't.
Re: Mass Effect
Interesting. Here's seeing to what comes of it.
